PARKWAY'S JOINT MANAGERS

All thanks to our joint management team ,"Jez and Roger" in the way they have guided the team to be in the present stage of the season. They have always had to contend with key players side-lined through injury. But the squad have seen us through. The win over Ivybridge town was not easy, as we were not at our best. But when you are at the top, teams are out to turn you over ? The "Bridgers" should have taken the lead in the first 4mins. A golden chance was squandered. But chances like that have to be put away. The lucky goal by "Andy Sargent"gave us the lead in the second half . We then had to face the dreaded situation of ten men. "Brooksie"on a yellow card, was offered an early shower by the "ref" for a thoughtless tackle. With him sent off, it left a big gap in mid-field for them to run at us. But we weathered the storm. We were looking for a second goal to cushion the pressure. It came late in the game. A loose ball ran kindly for "Eddie Edwards" who blasted a pile-driver"in the roof of the net.
