BODMIN TOWN HOME

MARK BERRY PUT'S THE "BOOT IN" (AND SCORES)
This eagerly awaited fixture lived up to expectations for a good crowd, considering the elements on the day. After some deep thought by the officials, the game was on. First half, both sides had chances to put a stamp on the game. But it took until the second period when the heavens opened ,for things to happen. Firstly we lost "Brooksie" on a straight red card for a late tackle. He left a big gap in the mid-field for us. Bodmin then took the lead on 80mins when a second ball was crashed home. We battled on and came close to getting level. It was ironic that late in the game, "Mark Berry", who turned down a lucrative move to Bodmin, got the equalizer. He turned his two defenders, and his shot eluded the outstretched hands of the keeper to score. He was duly mobbed to the delight of the home crowd. I thought we were delt a cruel blow for the red card, so we were pleased to get something out of this high profile fixture.
Scroll down for some action.
