"GAME ON"

It was good to see once again the home support at "Bolitho Park" for the local derby against "Elburton Villa". This is the first game for nearly a Month due to the elements. They saw a typical derby game, with 4 goals, a hatfull of yellow cards, one red, and a missed penalty. On the break we were level. Second half "Mat Green" who was an ex-Parkway player, put the visitors ahead. So it was shake-up time. But we suffered a further blow when "Tom Buckler" made a mess handling a high ball allowing it to cross the line. Courage was shown, and "John Heveran"got us back in the game beating the keeper with a low shot. The pressure was on, then Ryan Fice was brought down in the box. "Mark Berry"stepped up, but his well struck effort from the spot was well saved and turned away for a corner. But from the corner "Mark" got the final touch from close in to score and give us level pegs for the game. On the day it was a fair result. So it's Tuesday now for the next battle. home to Saltash 7-30pm
