TAVY AT HOME

"SILENCE OF THE LAMBS" (AGAIN)
We have now registered the victory home and away over "Tavy". A good crowd saw a game, much improved from Saturdays display. This is always a tough game for us, so it was no surprise to see the break no score. But the pep talk from you know who ? done the trick. Second half we were a different side. "Jumbo" gave us the lead, followed up by Andy Sargent. They pulled one back with a glancing header from a corner by Mark Condy. Then we put the game beyond reach, with a power of a header from John Heveran. They did suffer a blow when one of their "lambs" on a second yellow, was sent off. He "chopped" down one of our players.
