BUCKLAND BLASTED OFF THE TOP ??

We took the league leaders off the top position with this brilliant away win. A good crowd saw them meet their match and accept defeat, for which they have not seen at home for a long time. An early goal from "Glynn Hobbs" gave us the start. Followed when he shot again , "Chrissie Wright" got the final touch for the 2-0 nil lead on the break. Second half they came at us, their first goal was a scruffy one from a corner. But the equalizer was a great header. We then lost "Lance Bailey" on a straight red. But showed some courage and took the lead again. It was "Hobo" again to see his shot turned in yet again by "sniffer Wright". Soon after he was brought down in the box. Last defender, so red card for them. "Brooksie" stepped up and Cooley placed us on top of the league with the more than convincing 4-2 victory. In spite of the 2 red cards given, the game was a credit to both sides. The Parkway "mob" would like to say thank you for the hospitality and friendship shown.
