F.A.CUP AT CLEVEDON

JUST A SINGLE GOAL !!
All thanks to the travelling fans who saw us go out by the slender win for them. I thought we done ourselves proud, and no way were we the underdogs in skill. The two central defenders for both sides played a big part in the game. For them, he was 6 foot 12 inches tall !!. For us "Gavin Coulton" never put a foot wrong all 90mins of play. The decider came late in the first half, when a shot was high up by the near post. "Ben" half parried the shot but it still crept inside the side netting to register. We fought back well and were still in the game. But the front runners for us "Ryan and Levi", luck was not in their favour on the day. But it was a great day out enjoyed by all. Especially when we made a stop off at "Taunton Dean Services". Birthday boy "Ben" got some banter from a rugby side from "Brixham". He was challenged to perform the dance of the "flaming A--holes". (I will leave the details for you ??). However, he came through with flaming colours?? Next game at home to Launceston Tues  17th  7.30pm.
