NEWTON ABBOT HOME

"IT WAS SWEET REVENGE"
The home thrashing was on the cards, after the bad tempered defeat ,we experienced early in the season up at the Recreation ground. The early goal from them was short lived, and we went on to register eight goals. A poor crowd by our recent standards, but good football was on display. Johnny Morris got on the score sheet, along with two from Mark Berry to keep his challenge alive for top goal scorer. But the night belonged to "Andy Sargent", who put his name to no less than five goals. His best two for me , was from a cross supplied by "Paul Edwards", his first touch was good, he rounded his marker and finished. The second a pin-point cross coming from "Martin Sullivan", out jumping the defence to head home. He was obviously named the Man of the Match. It was a good all round performance, and now makes the run in to the end of the season more than interesting ?? Scroll down for some action !!
