TORPOINT AWAY

"TOM PUNCHES CLEAR"
This game at the "Mill" was important to both sides looking for end of season points. More so for us at this point of time, going for second place in the league. A meager crowd by our standards, but the football was fast and end to end. But it took us until nearly the last kick of the game to claim the points. The home side should have scored in the 85min, but we managed to get bodies in the way to prevent the ball crossing the line. We then broke away, and a second ball ran loose to "Shane Powell". He done well to get on top of the bouncing ball, and shot low past the diving hands of the home keeper "Joey Sydrecombe". It was a little cruel on the home side , but as we all know, "that's football".
scroll down for some action ?
