DARTMOUTH AWAY

NOT GOOD AT LONGCROSS ??

We were not at our best for this away fixture at "Dartmouth". Not as an excuse, but we were slightly below full strength with Matty Hawke and John Haveran both missing through injury. We had the lead after 25mins from a penalty. That stayed until early in the second half, when the home side levelled. It was a good strike low in the far corner. Both sides had to come to terms with a hard surface ground. Both looking for the winner, it came for them in the 60th min. My argument with that was the free kick was headed home completely unmarked , by the shortest player on the park. This will be the shake up call all teams face , especially at this crucial time in the league.
