GOOD FRIDAY DERBY V ELBURTON VILLA
BAD FRIDAY ??
FROM HIM TO ME !!
PARKWAY 1 ELBURTON 2
All thanks must be forwarded to the dedicated ground personnel who made the fixture possible. Namely Alan himself, helped by chairman Mark Young, vice chairman Gez Baggott and chief inspector Stuart Cadmore. In my absence due to holiday, Alan reports to me it was not the best of games. Both sides at fault for poor quality football. The meagre crowd saw the break on no score. Second half the visitors broke the deadlock when their veteran striker "Lee Harvey" gave them the lead. Going further ahead with ex-Parkway player "Ross Saint" getting the second goal. It was now going to be all uphill. Visiting keeper "Simon May" who I rate highly in the league for keepers, was the main stumbling block for us. But his one mistake gave the chance for "Carl Curtiss" to register our single goal in reply. Next battle now is Wednesday 7th April Bodmin Town away.
