PARKWAY UPDATE

THE OLD CLUBHOUSE
Once again now, not a lot of movement down at the ground. But if you click on to our chairman's latest webb insert you will get up to date just what is going on. In spite of our hard working chairman Mark Rowles doing his bit for the club, I'm afraid the bureaucracy of this world does not allow things to happen over night. So we have to be patient. In the meantime we have to spend a little money on the old clubhouse to further out the delay in the plans. Hence you see our trusty builders "Charlie and Alan" completing the work. The lads start training on Tues 3rd ,because our first friendly is nearly upon us. As you know we take on Maidenhead Town July 14th who were promoted this year to the Conference South. All be it after a play-off. They will be a good test for us ,with all the new faces donning a Parkway shirt for the new season. So that's one for your diary ??

PARKWAY UPDATE

WHEN IS THE
FIRST GAME
????

Well ! Well ! What have we
here. Some glum faces. Nothing as yet happening at "Bolitho Park" and "Steve, Alan, Tony and Charlie just can't wait for the season to start. But for what I hear, very interesting it will be.
I bumped into one of our joint managers "Roger Fice" while watching cricket. He gave me a whisper as to the quality players that are coming to "Bolitho Park". Players such as
Mark Berry, Rob, & Shane Powell all from Bodmin. "Dave Paynter", a young keeper from Millbrook. Stuart Berry ex Torpoint. Luke Mcpherson from Callington, Ross Coombes ex Ivybridge and Andy Widdicombe hailing from Dartmouth Town. Our managers have sure done well.. "Roger" did say, I will be busy with the camera getting all the new faces ? and I think he was right ? With players of that degree, we will be a major threat in the new league. I also hear that "Paul Edwards, Koran Whitfield and Gavin Woodward" have not signed up for us yet ?. Come on lads, get that pen out and sign ?? Update now for the friendlies to come. Maidenhead Town you have , also Truro City. Now we have 21st July Porthleven at home. 4th August Okehampton/Argyle away. Bideford home ,but no date as yet, then Dobwalls away, but yet again date to follow. So it's all looking good for an exciting season for us. I can't wait to get started. By the way, anyone got the new league logo, would they be so good as to send it to me at

PARKWAY UPDATE

There has been no change as yet, down at
Bolitho Park regarding the new clubhouse.
But I feel sure it wont be too long. In the meantime our loyal groundsman "Charlie and Alan"are busy getting the pitch back up to tip top condition, after the hectic season.
All thanks most go to our chairman "Mark Rowles" for being asked to be a committee member for the new "Peninsula
League". I think it will be an asset for our club within. Some exciting friendly's coming our way when we take on "Maidenhead"
who hail from the Conference South, on July 14. Then on the 27th July, we have the F.A. Vase winners Truro City no less, coming to grace Bolitho Park. This will be a great start for the new season. Stay tuned for further updates.
