"WE SEND THEM HOME ON THE LAST "FERRY"??
We got off to a fine start when "Kev Robinson" hit a brilliant goal after only 15 mins. (pic). Dartmouth, holding a high position in the league was going to be a test for us. But we were up for it from the first whistle. "Robbo" was first, and then "Sammy Mathews"slammed the second from a cross. The third I must admit I missed, as I was watering the daises behind the bottom goal at that given moment. But I'm told it was "Lee Doel" for our third. To complete the score-line, "Paul Baker" was on hand to finish after "Chris Wright" shot was only half saved by the keeper. It was a good win for us. The visitors defended to a degree, but left their shooting boots at home. I don't think "Simon" in goal had one decent shot to save. Not forgetting they were down to 10 men in the second half, and the Manager sent over the "fence", which does not help ?. Scroll down and stay tuned

CULLUMPTON AWAY THROGMORTON CUP
SIX OF THE BEST AT
"SPEEDS MEADOW"
"Dave Leonard", had a broad smile on his face,
after the 90 mins in this away fixture at "Cullumpton"
in the "Throgmorton Cup". We certainly amended the
defeat we suffered here in the league early in the season.
We played some good football, giving the home side no
rest. The squad now had to be at their best, knowing that
key players are now available for selection. Namely,
"John Haveran and Stuart Berry", (both with wrist injuries.) Not forgetting,
"Danny Brooks", who came on, and done his clever moves and passes in the
mid-field, that only "Brooksie" can do. But it was an all round team effort. With the
performance of the side , it was hard to name my Man of the Match. With some consultation over a pint in the club after ,we named our man ??. Scroll down for the score-sheet.

THROGMORTON CUP
"FOURTH AND SIXTH"
"Kev Robinson", had a stormer in our defence. He also done his bit in the attack. He was on the far post, to meet a cross from "Mat Cusack", and headed our fourth goal. Then in the second half, coming up for the corner in the 60th min, he got the last touch to give us the total of six. Apart from his goals, he put his name on the Man of the Match.

IVYBRIDGE HOME
"BOLITHO PARK WAS A BRIDGE TOO FAR " !!
The currant leaders of the league met their match , on a perfect day and a good crowd in attendance. After 30mins play the "Bridgers"finding themselves three goals down. On fire was "Chris Wright", seen here striking past ex-Parkway keeper "Dave Painter" for his first goal. His second was slightly on the lucky side from a mellee of players.
To complete his hat-trick for the second time in two games, he again was lucky. He clashed with the keeper, but the ball ran in his favour and found the net. The powers to be namely "Dave Leonard and Lee Harvey", must have been pleased with the final result. This was always going to be a difficult fixture, with the numbers of players on board for the visitors, that used to play at "Parkway". Scroll down for some action

WITHERIDGE AWAY
"WRIGHT WACKS WITHERIDGE !!"
This away fixture at "Edge Down Pk"was not going to be easy. With the wind and rain, (and the slope). However, the home side were down to 10 men within 5 mins. "Ross Saint" was elbowed in the face. The dreaded red card was shown. We then took the lead on 12 mins with "Chris Wright" heading home from a "Mat Cusack" cross. Good football was difficult, and we saw the break on level terms, giving away a simple goal. Second half with the elements in our favour, we took control. A further strike again by "Chris Wright"saw his second goal. To seal the game , a trip in the box, he stepped up to complete the hat-trick from the spot. It was a long journey home, but in the "boot" was all three points.
