ELBURTON AWAY

GOOD FRIDAY AT "HAYE ROAD"
This "Easter" fixture lived up to the level all was expected. With 5 goals registered a good crowd who attended were well awarded. Before the game we paid respect to "Duncan Hedges" son "James", who recently was killed in a road accident. We went a goal down when a scrappy free kick found the net. But before the break it was game on when we drew level with a great header coming from "Lance Bailey". But second half with a slight wind to our credit, I knew we would find the net. "Ryan Richards" was a big threat for them, but it was "Dan Smith" to give is the lead with a great strike. After that they kept us at bay by the skin if their teeth ?? We put the game safe when "Ryan Richards" finally found the net. Late in the game a consolation goal for them but the maximum points was already in the "boot" ??.    Have a nice "Easter"

THEY TAKE THE LEAD !
We suffered an early shock after only 22mins of play when they found the net. A free kick some 30yds out took a nasty deflection away from our keeper. But it found the corner of the net!!

THE BATTLE IS ON ?
Young "Sam Hillson" saw a lot of the ball in our defence. But he showed no lack of determination in his battle to win the ball.

ADDED POWER !!
We welcome again the impressive "Dann Smith" to add to our power up front for this important fixture. It certainly paid off ?. He was involved in much of the play in front of goal.

THE THIRD GOAL !!
"Ryan Richards" had many chances just short of the target. But there was no mistake after the ball was fed to him by "Danny Griffiths" to register our third goal and the killer blow for the result.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Guest player "Dan Smith" certainly added extra fire power for us. His crossing of the  ball was spot on, creating chance after chance. Not only did he put his name on the score-sheet in the second half with a 25yd blaster, but also the club "Man of the Match". Next game see us battle again at home to "Launceston" . That is Tuesday April 2nd 7.30pm

WESTINSURE CUP

WE PLAYED WELL! BUT LOST ??
Typical in the game of football, we played crap" against "Falmouth" and won. But in the cup against "Bideford" we played well but lost ??. We had them on the back foot for long periods of the game. We took the lead, but second half two simple goals was our downfall. However we gave them a run for their money. A small crowd in attendance, but we hope all change Saturday when we take on "Launceston". This is a fixture we must win to stay in the running. Also we might be using the new clubhouse if all goes well. All thanks to the help at the ground in the changeover. A special thanks to "Gez" and his Dad "Charlie" who has been the brains behind the move. I do think this will be a major step up for the club. Heh! see you Saturday ??

FALMOUTH AT HOME

IT WAS A SLENDER WIN !!
Here we see some of our loyal fan enjoying the game.It was a nice sunny afternoon but only a small crowd to see us return to winning ways. But only just !!. The game was not a classic. The visitors currently lying low in the League, gave us some anxious moments. I did think we were in control, but it was late in the game before it came about. There were chances at both ends during the 90mins of play. However, a ball was crossed over by "Danny Griffiths", it fell to "Ryan Richards". But it was "Warren Daw" who finally stabbed the ball over to give us the win.

RULED OFF-SIDE ??
We had the ball in the back of the net in the first half. But young "Sam Hillson" saw his effort was dubiously ruled out by the "liner".

HE'H!  WHO IS THAT ON OUR ROOF ??
We are at the moment having a problem with a leak. It is holding up the work to complete the job. Here we see our "Gez" trying to sort out the problem. Also in the image with his arms in a folded position, no other than "Kraccie"?. What's he doing at "Bolitho Park", when he should be playing ??. I bet he is thinking he could be out there playing again for us !!  (who knows) Next game Tues March 12th at home to "Bideford" in the cup.  7.30pm.   "lidds"

BOVEY TRACY AWAY

WE DIP AT "MILL MARSH"
Well ! Well!  What can be said. It was not our night. The home side were more up for the result, and it paid dividends. They were in my book, more eager to win the ball in play. The early penalty did us no favours. "Lee Bevan" upended in the box. It was not his night. He awarded  himself with a yellow card, and was subject to being at fault which led to the third goal for them. He entered the dug-out which saw all options played to save the night. This was not to be however. We must now pick ourselves up and look to the next battle. This will be Saturday against "Falmouth Town". Thank you for the travelling fans who made the trip up to support.
"Wayner"  stop crying !! we will bounce back !!
      Stay tuned  "lidds"

TORPOINT AWAY

LEVEL PEGS AT THE "MILL"
So after the home and away fixtures we end up sharing the points. I must say I myself thought it was a fair result. They had chances to claim the day as well as ourselves. We took the lead after 10mins play with a free kick by "Paul Heveran". The ball was half parried by the wall but still evaded the keeper to save. Play was even at this stage. But on the 30min marker they levelled the score. It must be said a well taken goal by ex-Parkway striker "Paul Baker". That was the result to stand for the game. Another free kick by "Hevers" saw the home keeper bring off a brilliant save tipping the ball over the bar. We were down to 10 men in the 85min, when "Sparkie" was seen to instigate some dangerous play, for which he was first in the showers ??. Say no more !!. Just a note of thanks for the hospitality shown to us at half-time , it was top class, thanks.

WE TAKE THE LEAD !!
Early in the game we took the lead. A free kick from "Paul Heveran" done the trick. The power of the shot was somewhat taken out by the wall, but still evaded the keepers grasp to save.

EARLY PRESSURE FOR THEM
Very early in the game we were the side looking to score. Here we see "Ryan and Warren" looking for the loose ball ??.

"GRIFF" IS BACK !!
It was good to see the return of "Danny Griffiths" back in the squad after his lengthy injury. He came off the bench in the second half and immediately made an impact.

RED CARD !!
We suffered late in the game with "Marc Bonney" getting his marching orders from the "Ref". I thought he was harshly dealt with. Seeing he only instigated the movement for dangerous play, but no contact made.

CLUB MAN OF THE MATCH
Once again a faultless performance from the trusty left foot of "Lee Bevan".

BRILLIANT SAVE !!
"Paul Heveran" already in credit for one goal from a free kick. But this time it was tipped over the bar by the home keeper to keep the score at level pegs. Next game away to "Bovey Tracy" on Wed March 6th, 7.30pm,   Stay tuned  "lidds"
