1ST FRIENDLY DAWLISH TOWN AWAY

WE MARK THE DAY
Our first friendly away to "Dawlish Town" was proved to be a good run-out for us. With the score-line not a factor, it gave the powers to be, a good look as to how we fit together the new squad. There was a few cob-webbs, but Im sure that will be sorted. "Paul Quinn"gave us the lead with a superbly struck free kick. Their first two goals was clear-cut, but the other two was silly goals given away. Kev Robinson had a strong game, and "Lewis Young" from the second team made himself known. This wont be the last time he puts on a first team shirt ??. Stay tuned "Lidds"

NEW SQUAD AT PARKWAY

THAT'S THE LATEST FROM "PARKWAY"
With the holiday season upon us, there were players
in the squad that were missing. But still the training
is going well. Our coach "Mark Gammon" and the new
manager "Dave Leonard" are hard at the task of getting
the players into shape. Our first challenge is the run-out
away against "Dawlish Town" on Tues 22nd with a 7.30pm
kick off. Then "Bridgewater Town" on the 24th, again same
k/off. Saturday 2nd Aug we are away to "Okehampton".
That one is sheduled for 2.30pm. But the big one is on the 5th Aug at 7-30PM
when we take on no less "Truro City" at home. This will be a tough one for us
as we now proudly have in charge at Parkway their ex-manager ?? I'm sure we will
be up and ready. So there you have it to date.
Stay tuned "Lidds"

NEW STRIP FOR PARKWAY

"GARY DOEL" TOP MAN
It was a quick phone call, and I was off down the road to view the new strip. As we all know, what a burden the finance is now , to keep our football alive. We at "Parkway" are more than lucky to have on board as our main sponsor "Gary Doel". He has supplied for the new season brand new strip, tracks and weather gear. Also a bonus for us with his son "Lee" who is a prominent member of our playing squad. He is a more than popular player on and off the field. Here you see the hand-over to our new Manager, ex-Truro boss "Dave Leonard". So we are all set with the training going well. With the new club-house on the drawing -board, a new Manager, new strip and a young new squad, you would do well to visit "Bolitho Park" in the new season. Im sure it will be money well spent ??

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS AT BOLITHO PARK

"CHEERS" HAPPY BIRTHDAY
After all the work completed for the day, it was time for tea. But this one somewhat special for one of our long standing loyal supporter "Tony Sowden". This season "Tony" donated a splendid new trophy to be challenged on a perpetual basis, within the club. So it was only the right thing to herald the occasion on his 72nd birthday. Here we see from left to right, "Alan (groundsman) Steve (tea boy) Geof,(physio) Tony (birthday boy) and myself. In the very near future, I hope to bring you the latest on the new squad. So stay tuned

"DAVE LAYING DOWN SOME RULES"
After the initial introduction to the new squad, and the committee. The new manager relays to the new faces, what is to be expected from them. I no need to tell you that "Dave" has done what any young footballer , have even dreamed of !!. The way he gave his ambitions and future for the club, certainly impressed me , and all in the room. But I feel that with the young squad we have, we will be a tough challenge.I just hope now that we can all pull together and reach the high standards that he will seek. I'm sure we will do our best.

PARKWAY TRAINING

THE NEW PARKWAY TRIO
This is the new powers to be, that will guide us through the coming new season. On the left we have "Lee Harvey", who was obviously well known as a player in the top grade. he will be a great asset to the club. Center , the boss "Dave Leonard". He has been there ,and got the "tea-shirt". Then, on the right we have "John Horne", who was a prominent goal keeper in his day. His past experience will be a bonus for the team, in this very important position in the side. With this trio behind us ! I can't see us failing ??
