BUCKLAND AWAY

WE PAY TRIBUTE Before the kick off, we showed congratulations to the home side in gaining promotion from the league. The game was a sporting fixture, with the final result pretty much as expected. Play was somewhat difficult on a more than heavy ground. On the break we found ourselves 2- o down. They scored again, but we got back in the game with the score-line at 3-2. Just when we looked for the equalizer they went further ahead. It now was a daunting task to show courage to win. Both sides scored again to tally the final score at 5-3 . With 3 games left to play we have to fight now for that final position in the league. (but it wont be relegation ??)

ONCE AGAIN "OUTSTANDING " In the Parkway defence, "John Heveran" was a stumbling block for the home front runners on many occasions.

3 POINTS AT "PENNYGILLAM"
This was a good win for us as we always battle for the win at this venue. A small crowd saw us far the better side. "Lee Doel" gave us the lead after only 10mins of play. From the spot we added the second all thanks to "Willy" doing the honours. They did reply with it must be said a brilliant unstopable header on the far post. However, just when we were under pressure late in the game, our "Willy" selected a chance in the 85th min, to chip the ball over the keeper to seal the away result. It was a sporty game as I recall only one yellow card was shown !!.

LEE BEVAN With his trusty left foot, he put in a fine performance in our defence.
   "lidds"
"WILLY FROM THE SPOT !!
As you can see, he sent the home keeper the wrong way to give us the second goal.
   "lidds"
BROAD SMILES ALL ROUND   Parkways club Physio "Deano Gallini" shows delight when we registered the second goal. He has the daunting task of keeping the squad on the field. He can fix broken legs, and cracked ribs, but mouth to mouth, he draws the line ??. Here he is seen well backed up by the younger element of support we have at the club .
   "lidds"
"HILLY" MAKES THE CHALLENGE
Young "Sam Hillson" was one of the options from the bench. He gave us added strength late in the game to secure the away win.
  "lidds"
MAN OF THE MATCH
"Will Stringer" played an important role in the game. In the first half he stepped up to increase our lead to 2 nil , all be it from the spot. In the second half with the score at 2-1, they had us on the back foot. But in the 85th min, "Willy" worked the ball in from the bye-line. All expected the cross, but he cleverly chipped the ball over the keeper for a more than cheeky goal !!. That was the to seal the game for the result. No doubt he put his name on the club award.

BIRTHDAY GIRL !!
We not only celebrated the away win. But to add to the day it was "Sue Baggotts" special day as well. The lovely wife of Parkways co-manager "Gez Baggott". Seen here with the female support that we have at the club. It was a good day for all. Next game league winners "Bodmin Town" away. Wed 25th April . I wonder ????

CAMELFORD AT HOME

"SHARED POINTS WITH THE CAMELS !!
With the view of revenge in mind for the early defeat in the season, it was not to be. A small crowd saw the visitors take the lead. A slip in the defence in the first half left "Martin Piper" in a exposed position. His effort to save failed and the low shot found the net. But we bounced back 5 mins later and drew level. "Sam Cooper" shrugged off the challenge, he waited for his time to shoot and found the target. Second half there were chances for us to steal the win. But time and time again it was just wide. So at the 90 min whistle it was to stay "level pegs".

"WRIGHTY RETURNS TO BOLITHO PARK"
But only to feature against us !. We had to contend with a more than favourite in his playing days at "Parkway" was "Chrissey Wright". He made himself known in the first 10 mins of his presence , when he struck the post with a great shot.

ELBURTON AT HOME

CHARLIE BAGGOTT 85 YEARS (GOOD GRIEF) ??
Not only "Good Friday" but "Charlies" birthday as well. Here we see him with the squad and co-manager "Wayne Hillson" being presented with a token from the Parkway club. It turned out to be a good day. A good crowd saw us deliver no less than 5 HOT CROSS BUNS into the Elburton goal. On the day they found us too hot to handle. New signing "Sam Cooper" gave us the start. Big "John Heveran" found the net twice. Lee Doel hit a beauty from 25 yds, the best goal of the day. To round off the tally of 5 "Arrun Hulme"got the last touch from a goal-mouth scramble. It was a sporting game but marred slightly when young "Ryan Richards" turned on his ankle and was stretchered off. I trust all is well.

LAUNCESTON AT HOME

AS ALWAYS THE LINE OF RESPECT
A fair crowd for a Friday night for this as normal a difficult fixture. The visitors at this time in a healthy position in the league. The game was end to end with some good football on display. On the break it was still nobodys game. But the game bursted to life in the last io mins of play. "Launceston" took the lead with a scruffy goal . The ball was headed home after a scramble right on the line. But we bounced right back. Johnny Wyatt sent across a ball into the box, it was met by "Paul Heveran"to put us back in the game. Then 4mins later it was the same move again from "Wyatt". This time "Ryan Richards" met the ball for the dying winner. It must have been an exciting win for all at "Bolitho Park" ??.

LAUNCESTON AT HOME

DEAN TURNER
Young keeper "Dean" has waited his turn to show his skills between the "Parkway Posts". With "Pipes" away for a wedding he took the challenge with both safe hands !!. During the course of the 90mins, he handled with ease all that came his way. A mention also for his dead ball kicking, it was top class.
"lidds"

LAUNCESTON AT HOME

MARC BONNEY
Now moved into the centre of our defence, has gave us added strength, and combines well with his team mate "John Heveran". They were a brick wall for the "Clarets" front runners during the game.
