NOT LOOKING GOOD ??

IT'S A GRIM OUTLOOK !!
The chances at the moment are pretty slender to say the least for the game to be on. So the plans at this given time, is all to meet at the club at 12 noon. We will call this a Xmas social gathering for which we can have a few beers and do the festive draw !!. Any queries you can call Stuart or me on 769577. Once again "Happy Xmas" (Bloody weather ??)

But this will be at the mercy of the elements as you will guess. After, all being well we will do the Xmas Draw. If all goes well , it could be a lovely event. Xmas draw this year not to be missed. There are some lovely prizes to be won. Well ! what can I say !. An event not to be missed. Keep tuned in for the forthcoming plans regarding the weather. Before I go , could I say a Merry Xmas to all, at our great club Parkway, to the players, the powers to be , "Tina" for her lovely curry, and the two tea ladies !! BODMIN TOWN HOME F.A.VASE

NOT A DAY TO
REMEMBER ??
Parkway 1 Bodmin Town 4
Well ! Well ! Not a lot to say about this game. A meagre crowd by standards, but they saw yellow cards, three reds, and 5 goals. I would say that's value for money. But on the serious side, it was a big lack of discipline on our part. With the 3 red cards we suffered, we put the result in their hands. Glynn Hobbs was the first to go (38mins) followed shortly by Shane Kracc. In the period of extra time "Brooksie"got his marching orders. Three key players not on the field. They must have thought Xmas has been brought forward ??. But all credit to the remaining squad, the general patter from the crowd was how well they played against the "odds". It was a shame how the game unfolded. Because "Bodmin" never impressed me at all. Extra time needed against 8 men, that's no great victory. But that was our fault, and I guess will be dealt with for the future. Let us remember, It's only a game of football !!

GLYNN HOBBS (CENTRE)
In the 38th min, was the start of our downfall. "Hobsie" got the dreaded red card. It must have seemed an early Xmas present for them ?? I'm sure if things were changed, it would have been a different story on the result ??.
