CAMELFORD AWAY

FULL HOUSE AT TREFREW PARK ??
As you can see they are not too heavy on home support. But a day when we were a much depleted side in strength they turned us over. When you are short of key players namely "Hobbo, Bailey, Chitty and Kracci" you will pay the price. And we did just that. Just for the record only one player mentioned, attended to give support. Well done "Sam". Also it put's a light on our "Willy". What a good club man he is. Since his injury he has been there every game !!. As for the game itself, what is there to say. No one player to blame, but the mere fact we were well below our best. Going a goal down early, and the way we were playing, the second goal I thought "game over". How right I was. On the issue of hospitality!, it was something to be desired. A place to buy tea and snack, but where do you sit ?. I hate to think what it would have been if it was raining. Not a lot attended the after the game chat and a beer, because we where not told of the place to go ??. If you have no clubhouse, tell people of the alternate arrangements !!. First time I have been to a game and not had a beer ??. Anyway, no bad eggs, we were beaten on the day. But the home fixture will be a different story to tell, you mark my words !

Andy, done his best on the day. But found the pace a little more "robust" from which he is accustomed to ?.

FIRST HALF PRESSURE

Drafted in from the second team, "Sam Stevens" challenges the keeper on a high ball. Late in the game he put his name on our single goal.

CAMELFORD AWAY

THE ODD CHANCE FOR US
Late in the game "Sam Stevens" made room for himself. But the home keeper made a desperate save with luck on his side. Next game now Sat, Ivybridge away.

DRESSING ROOMS UPDATE

FINISHED !! BRILLIANT

The Dressing rooms are all but finished. Just some minor touches to be done inside. But all is looking good. Gary Doel and Son has done us proud. I'm sure all at the Club from the Players, the Committee, supporters and everyone else will agree that the dedicated work "Gary" and his team has put in, will be a benefit to us all. The grand opening now is sheduled for the 6th Dec when we entertain "Bideford Town"in the "St Lukes Bowl". Someone of importance will be called upon for the honours. The "Queen" has been informed, but something leads me to believe she can't make it ??

Anyway, we are now on the map, not only for our football, but all that goes with it !!.

DRESSING ROOMS UPDATE

THE EARLY DAYS

This was the first task to clear the ground ready for the foundations to go down.

DRESSING ROOMS UPDATE

GARY SIGNALS "SPOT ON "
With the ground all cleared the first block is put in place. This honour fell to "Charlie Baggott", who is a Life Vice President at "Parkway". "Charlie", who was a builder of some substance in his day laid the block with ease. Watched closely by "Gary". But all was spot on for level !!

DRESSING ROOMS UPDATE

SECURITY !!
At any big building project you have to take on board the threat of stealing from the site. So at great expence we employed some on site "security" ??

ST BLAZEY AWAY

EARLY PRESSURE AT "BLAISE PARK"

We left "Blaise Park" with a more than convincing win just as we did on the previous encounter in the cup. However it was not as easy this time. But four clear goals was enough to settle the issue. "Lee Doel" scored twice and "Hobbo" replied twice to tally the four. All be it one was from the spot, after "Doely" was upended in the box by the keeper. They never gave up trying , but found "Parkway" keeper "Pipes" in no mood to give up his clean sheet performance on the day. He went on to claim the club Man of the Match award. Again I must report the hospitality shown to the powers to be at "Parkway" at half time was top class. Sandwiches and jam and cream scones, only to be served in "Gods Country" ?? Stay tuned "lidds"

ST BLAZEY AWAY

"HEAVILY MARKED" ?? NO !!

In any game we must assume that "Hobbo" is going to be closely monitored. But my image shows, this is a bit over the top ??

ST BLAZEY AWAY

THE POWER OF "HOBBO"

This big fella! had his hands full marking our "Hobbo". But to no avail ! He laid on two goals and scored twice for himself. (brilliant).

ST BLAZEY AWAY

"MIDFIELD DYNAMO "!!

As always "Kracci" gives us the buzz in the centre of the park. Not always on the score sheet, but his turn of pace and strong tackle is all that a team must have.

"lidds"

ST BLAZEY AWAY

"LEE DOEL"

"Doely" was more than a prominent factor in this away victory. He opened the scoring in the first half to give us the lead. Second half he featured again for his second goal. He was then upended in the box by the keeper, to give "Hobbo" our third goal from the spot. He was my close second for club Man of the Match.

CLEAN SHEET !!

The home front runners at "Blaise Park" had chances to find the net. But they found "Parkway" keeper "Pipes" in no mood to be beaten. He was a sure stumbling block for the whole 90mins.

ON THE MEND !!

On my last visit to "Dann" it was good news. After under going two major operations on his leg, he was awaiting the nod to return home to recuperate. On behalf of "Dann" he wishes to express his sincere thanks to one and all, for the financial gesture we organised at the Club. It was more than welcomed in more ways than one. He has a broad smile on his face knowing full well he is a valued member at "Parkway". He hopes to be at our next game on Friday 11th at home to "Buckland". "
