AS ALWAYS WE PAY RESPECT A small token to congratulate the league winners. It bugs me to report that we went down 3-0 after playing well. The early spawney goal done us no favours. However we made them sweat till late in the game when they found the net twice to seal the result. But to be fair, we were up against the so-called best in the league ? A small comment on the half-time hospitality laid on for the visiting committee. It was only myself and "Al Holswill" who went for the treat. Bone china teacups ! Ham, Salmon and Cucumber sandwiches, and tea cakes. Tea or coffee. Not bad for a retired dock-yardie and a hairy ass H.G.V. lorry driver  ????

ONE OF THE DANGERS
   We had to face the mid-field skills of ex-Parkway's "Shane Kracc". He was a firm favourite of mine at the club, and I knew he would be a prominent threat to us during the game. I was correct !! he found the target for their third goal.

Time and time again, "Sparky" had to deal with the threat of the home sides "big gun". But "Sparky" was quicker on the draw ??
