SALTASH AWAY

6 GOALS COOLS THE "ASHES" ??
Here we see us planning the downfall for "Kimberly Stadium". Whatever we planned, it certainly worked. We were brilliant. On the break leading by 3 goals, and well in charge of the game. Their central defender big "Toby Clark", had no answer for the quickness and skill of "Andrew Neal". Finding the target twice with one from "Chriss Wright", saw us flagship on the break. Second half they did reply, but then we targeted again "Rocky" on his hat-trick and then "Jordon Walton" got on the score-sheet. A further blow for the "Ashes" was a handball in the box. "Trotty" kindly stepped aside to allow "Rocky" to register his fourth and keep his tally on track. This confident win will keep us in focus for the big one to come ??

SALTASH AWAY

EARLY PRESSURE
Some early pressure for "Josh Colwill" in the "Parkway" goal. But in the 90mins of play he showed some safe handling of the ball, and made some good saves.

SALTASH AWAY

THIS WAS CLOSE !!
This effort from "Wrighty", was luckily saved by the "Ashes" keeper. But his goal in the first half a full volley, was the best of the bunch from the 6 goals registered.
ANOTHER EX-PARKWAY PLAYER ??
Chrissie Wright comes up against "Danny Lewis" who used to be at "Bolithio Park".

SALTASH AWAY

   JORDON TROTT
Saw a lot of the ball. 100% performance

SALTASH AWAY

FOUR FOR "ROCKY"
"Andy Neale" had a game to be remembered at "Kimberly Stadium". He hit the target no less than 4 times. All be it one was from the spot.

SALTASH AWAY

MAN OF THE MATCH
Our team coach "Dave Staddon" who has done a fantastic job in keeping the  squad in top form, was given the choice, for the final vote for the club award. For his determination and effort he calls up young "Ryan Morehead", for his first time. Well done "Ryan". Next game is now the final for the W.C.Parsons Cup. Torpoint away Sun May 10th 3pm. Heh ! see you there ??

BODMIN AWAY

END OF AN ERA !!
Before the start of the game their long standing keeper "Kevin Miller", (centre) was to receive the applaud on his coming retirement from the team. It bugs me to say ! he was one of the best keepers in our league. But on the night, he came second best ??. We played brilliant, all the squad chased and fought for every ball. Just before the break we took the lead from a free kick with "Rocky" getting the final touch. Early in the second he featured again. A low shot from 20yds giving "Miller" no chance. But chances were there to put the game to bed ! "Levi", hit the post and grazed the crossbar during the 90 mins. They did reply late in the game from a "Brooksie" free kick. It took a cruel deflection and found the net. So at last we put one over to our arch rivals at "Priory Park". But this high profile fixture was keenly played, with the odd yellow seeing the light of day. The trip home was well and truly worth it ??                Stay tuned  "lidds"

BODMIN AWAY

WE PAY RESPECT
We join the home fans  and players for the death of recent of one of their keen supporters.

BODMIN AWAY

ONCE AGAIN WE HEAD CLEAR !!

BODMIN AWAY

AN OLD ENEMY !!
We had to contend with the skills and clever play coming from an old "Parkway" favourite by the way of "Danny Brooks". But he was well catered for ??

BODMIN AWAY

"GAVIN " HEADS AWAY
We must contribute this brilliant away victory giving some credit to the defence. I know to win games you must score ! but also to defend !! . "Gav" and Mike Landricombe"were on top of their game, and both played well.

BODMIN AWAY

MAN OF THE MATCH
Mike Landricombe was solid in our defence. He went on to claim the club award. Next game now is away to "Saltash Utd" Wed 29th April. The last league game.                          "Lidds"

TORPOINT AWAY

BIG "MIKE" GIVES CHALLENGE

TORPOINT AWAY

EARLY PRESSURE
In the first half we inflicted some early pressure on the home defence. But that little bit of luck never came our way?.

TORPOINT AWAY

THIS WAS CLOSE !!
By the Skin of their teeth they kept this out ??

TORPOINT AWAY

"JAMIE BASS"
I will say we were not at our best at the "Mill", but someone who gave their 100% was "Bassie".

TORPOINT AWAY

"OVER THE BAR" ??
During the game "Mike Landricombe" had good efforts headed but too much contact on the ball. Next game now another battle that will stretch us to the limit ?? Friday April 24th "Bodmin Town" away. ??                               Stay tuned "lidds"

ST AUSTELL AT HOME

HERE WE GO ??
This much awaited fixture is upon us. A bumper crowd saw a lively game with 2 RED CARDS , 2 goals with one from the spot. But play was end to end. They suffered a hand ball in the box. Down to 10 men we took the lead from the spot with "Jordon Trott" making no mistake. That saw the break with us flagship. But second half we were on the defence !. They came at us for the winner. We then suffered a serious blow loosing "Gavin Coulton"on a second yellow. At this point we must thank our keeper "Josh" bringing off some great saves to keep us in the game. The "Lillywhites" then got the equalizer with a soft goal that slowly crossed the line in off the post. So at the the 90 min whistle, if we were to be honest it was a fair result. We did not win ! but we never lost !!

ST AUSTELL AT HOME

"JAMIE BASS"
Had another positive game !!

ST AUSTELL AT HOME

4 AGAINST ONE !!

ST AUSTELL AT HOME

I TOLD YOU ONCE "BAILEY"
DON'T DO IT AGAIN ??

ST AUSTELL AT HOME

"BAD MOMENT"
This was a bad cruel blow for us when we see our "Gavin Coulton", sent for the early shower after a second yellow. It was a soft challenge, but that will see with a serious onslaught now with the cup final team select available in "May", against "Goldolphin".

St AUSTELL AT HOME

"HEAVILY MARKED"
For more than obvious reasons "Levi", was closely shadowed in the game. This effort was alas over the bar !!

St Austell at home

MAN OF THE MATCH
Here we see Parkways manager "Wayne Hillson" who is standing down on completion of the season. Being the most successful  manager to date, he was given the accolade honour to present the "lidds on line" man of the match award to "Andy Neale", for the last game home game for which he was in charge. I think we all say "Wayner" well done mate!!
next game is "Torpoint" away on Tues April 22nd.

CALLINGTON AWAY

"SMILES" FROM THE BENCH ??
"Parkway" manager "Wayne and Coach Dave Staddon", played a crafty move at "Marshfield Park" baring in mind the high profile game bestowed upon us on Saturday !! at home to St Austell. So they placed on the bench, two of our smiling "king pins" of the squad to the bench for safe keeping so to speak. Well it worked when we saw the break with a three goal lead. "Rocky" got 2 and "Jordon Walton" hit one from 25yds. After the tea break we coasted through with "Rocky" completing his hat-trick. Late in the game the consolation goal was scored by them. It was a clean game with no yellows on show. Also, all thanks to the travelling fans who made the trip.We outnumbered by far the home support ??
Heh !! see you Saturday, the big one ????????
                                                                         "lidds"

CALLINGTON AWAY

"BASSIE "
"Parkway" physio "Deano", called upon to treat "Jamie" who was on the end of some rough tackles. But he is a tough lad. It was a broken leg, 4 cracked ribs and a headache !. But he got up and played on.

CALLINGTON AWAY

POWER AT THE BACK !!
Alongside "Mike Landricombe" in our defence, big "Lance Bailey" is a power of strength. As I have said before, very clever on the ball, and his clearances are very direct.

CALLINGTON AWAY

"JOSH" PARKWAY KEEPER
Never had a lot to do from the home front runners. But this free kick he nearly lost his grip ?

CALLINGTON AWAY

"ROCKY" VERSUS THE KEEPER

CALLINGTON AWAY

"HAT-TRICK"
The keeper missed the flight of the ball, so it was "Rocky" to slip the ball over to claim the prize !!, and give us 4 nil.

CALLINGTON AWAY

"BASSIE" GETS THE CLUB AWARD !!
For his commitment in any game "Jamie " will give his best. The effort to win the tackle is always 100%. One of the quickest players on the field. My choice for Man of the Match. Next game is a different story for us !. We take on" St Austell" at home on Sat April 18th. We are expecting a big crowd, so see you there !!

NEWQUAY AT HOME

THE LOYAL FANS !!
Here we have the "Parkway" supporters enjoying a cup of tea, watching the game , all in the Sunshine. But by standards the crowd was small, but there was 2 yellows, one red and 2 goals to be seen. It was a pity the football never matched the weather. We were not at our best. However, the "Peppermints" were down to 10 men after ten minutes. So the game was there for the taking. We lost "John Heveran" by injury and that saw the break no score. Second half it had to come. From a corner "Rocky" got the touch from close in to head home. We had to be careful because on breakaways, they gave us some anxious moments. Then late in the game "Paul Heveran" cut in from the flank. His low shot crashed the back of the net to secure the win. So once again we send an  outfit back into the depts of Cornwall with nothing in the "boot" ??
                                                                       "lidds"

NEWQUAY AT HOME

WE TAKE THE LEAD !!
From the corner in the second half, "Mike Landricombe" headed the ball back into the box. It was "Rocky" to get down low to head the ball in !!

NEWQUAY AT HOME

"GOOD EFFORT"
Defender "Lance Bailey" very clever on the ball, to quickly change his direction. Here he joins the attack, but the shot was well saved by the keeper.

NEWQUAY AT HOME

"PAUL HEVERAN"
Time and time again he was left space on the right flank. His crosses kept the "Peppermints" on their toes.

"ROSS" GETS THE TACKLE IN !!

"BIRTHDAY BOY" ???
To round off the celebrations for "Charlies" 88th Birthday, our very own "Jacky" supplied the "Mothers" touch with a home made Birthday cake. I can assure you, it went tastily down !!

CALLINGTON AT HOME

"GAVIN GETS THE LAST TOUCH"
This will be the second time we  inflict a victory over the "Callies" from Cornwall. Once in the league and then the cup. However a close game was to be the outcome. We went flagship from a corner by "Rocky" from a lucky second ball. Then "Levi" a low shot saw us on the break with a 2 nil lead. Being the prominent side on the park, a normal crowd attendance, saw us go further ahead. From a corner it was "Jordon Walton" to get the final touch to score. It was a clean game with only one yellow on view. They did reply with a single goal from corner , but I'm afraid they travel back to depts of "Cornwall" with nothing in the "boot". So we battle on now with the league open for the claim, and not forgetting we are in the once again the "CUP FINAL"                                                    "lidds"

MAN OF THE MATCH
Here we have my Grandson "Jake", who is a keen supporter of "Parkway", on leave from his basic training for the "Navy". Here he is to present the club award to "Josh Colwill" for his safe handling in the custodial position in the club.

                                                                                                                                                                                     HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Can we put our hands together to wish "Charlie", who is a credit to us all at "Parkway", a happy birthday cheer for reaching the grand old age of 88 !!. I will be the first to say, there will be a few "Newcastle" on the way to mark the day.  Charlie ! happy birthday mate.

ELBURTON GOOD FRIDAY

PARKWAY KEEPER
All thanks to the loyal fans to brace the elements for the "Good Friday" fixture. To be honest it was one way traffic for most of the game. A quick re-call on the goals. After 5 mins "Rocky" by the near post. Then he done well to put "Levi" in for goal no 2. That saw the break. Soon after "Rocky" again, his cross evaded the defence and found the far corner, goal no 3. Then "Levi" cheekily chipped the keeper from close in for his second. That made 4 nil. After "Ross Huyland"had a lucky ball to see him slam home for goal no 5. To make the tally of half dozen, a ball completely missed for clearance fell to "Mike Landricombe" to bundle over. Heavy conditions, but the squad played well. Other than that "Happy Easter"                                                                 "lidds"

ELBURTON GOOD FRIDAY

NEVER TOUCHED HIM "REF"
Here we see ex-"Parkway", Paul Baker brought to ground. But during the game he was well catered for ??

ELBURTON GOOD FRIDAY

ANDY NEALE
The quickness of "Rocky", is a headache for any defenders. It was proven today with his two strikes on target.
