CUP FINAL

"TROTTY" BREAKS UP THE AGGRO ??
Well, I have had to rethink my report for the game as all did not go well. As the first image shows it was highly charged from the start. We found ourselves 3 goals down on the break. The squad battled well but it must be said we were well below our full strength. They could have not chosen a better day to take us on. Not looking for excuses but when you have players of top calibre such as "Gavin Coulton, John Heveran ", missing from defence. Then up front the pace of "Levi Landricombe" to find the net, you are hard pressed to be at you best. But that we had to contend with. Second half we lost "Lance Bailey" on injury and "Chrissey Wright" was roughly treated with a red card. As the game unfolded we saw our grasp on the cup gradually slipping away. We did find the net with a free kick, but too late to change any result and any plans to open any Champagne ??. We all travelled home and had a good cry on the "Ferry".

LANCE BAILEY
Not fully fit but had to make the squad because of the players available on the day. But sadly had to return to the bench.

CUP FINAL

THEY TAKE THE LEAD !
With all our "Parkway Pundits", behind the goal, they were to see "Josh" diving in vain to save the free kick.

CUP FINAL

PAUL HEVERAN
Had a strong game, and was the only "Parkway" player to get on the score-sheet.

CUP FINAL

A GOAL TOO LATE ?
Late in the game we did find the net from a free kick by "Paul Heveran". It beat the wall and the keeper and found the net. But it was all in vain to change the final score-line.

CUP FINAL

ANOTHER BLOW !!
What with being 3 down, we suffered yet a further down fall for us when we lost "Chris Wright" on a RED  He was supposed to elbow the player in the face. We all know for a fact ! he is not that sort of player.

CUP FINAL

CLOSE MARKING !!
As soon as we were on the ball , they done their up most to close us down. Maybe at the end of the day , it done the trick.
                Have a good Summer,    "lidds"
