ST BLAZEY

MAN OF THE MATCH
It was a good result for us on the night. We led for best part of the game with a free kick slotted home by "Martin Sullivan". Then late in the game, a shot through a mellee of players took a heavy deflection and found the back of the net to give them level pegs. But on the 90min marker it was a fair result. Here you see our founder member and life President of Parkway "Stuart Cadmore" , who is over on holiday from Cyprus. Here presenting the Man of the Match award to "Joey Smith" who has returned to us from Tavistock. Scroll down to see some of the action.

ST BLAZEY

A good crowd on the night came to see us protect our 100% record, taking on one of the big clubs in the league.

ST BLAZEY

"Ryan Fice" for obvious reasons was closely marked and had to bear some heavy tackles during the game.

PARKWAY UPDATE

BRILLIANT START

The holiday was good ,but it seems to me
I have missed out on a great start for us
in the new league. First away to "Buckland"
who were unknown to us. Then a great result
at Erme Valley". To top it all, we hammer
"Bodmin Town" by three clear goals. Its
early days, but never the less its good for us.
I must thank "Tony and Steve" for keeping me informed in my absence.
So scroll down and see who was on target in our first three wins in the league.

PARKWAY UPDATE

COFFEE BREAK AT BOLITHO PARK
Now we have completed the pre-season friendlies, it's time to think about
the first game in the new league. For what we have read, and heard in the
pipe-line, it's not going to be easy away to "Buckland Ath". But in the mean-
time work goes on down at the club. Here we see the ground-staff and
helpers , participating in coffee and biscuits in the lounge area of the club.

WADEBRIDGE TOWN

"GAVIN WOODWARD " (Woody)
He put in a strong performance at the back, making life difficult for their front runners. In the second half, he got the final touch from a cross from "Brooksie" to put his name on our second goal.

RYAN FICE ON TARGET TWICE
"Ficee" was heavily marked, but still got the final touch on a second ball after Danny Brooks shot was only half-saved. He added his second goal with a glancing header from the cross.

WADEBRIDGE TOWN

LAST OF THE FRIENDLIES AWAY TO WADEBRIDGE TOWN
Saturday we were put to the test taking on a young side that will feature in Div 1 of the new league. Stuart Dudley who was our assistant manager at Parkway, has got together a useful squad that I feel will do well. On the break we were 1-o down. It was a hot day and only a meagre crowd came to see an entertaining game. After the break we were back level, and gradually took control . We ran out 3-2 winners ,but the score-line was not an important factor. But scroll down to see who hit the target.

PRE-SEASON UPDATE

VIRGIL IGALAWUYE MOVES TO HOLSWORTHY F.C.

WE LOSE ANDY BARNES TO SALTASH
On Saturday with my old mate "Pat Kiely", we went across to see Saltash versus Chard town. It ended up a hammering by the home side to the tune of 9-1. But I heard that we have lost the services of Andy Barnes, and also Koran Whitfield to the
Kimberly Stadium set-up. But for what I saw on Saturday, both players will have to step up a gear if they are to make the squad. Saltash looked good regarding the defence. Then news came to me that Virgil Igalawuye, has been snapped up by Holsworthy Town. My comment on that! has he done the right thing taking that ardous journey every week up there. We will see ??
