WE SEVERLY DAMPEN THE ASHES ??

EARLY LEAD FROM "SAM" Always a great derby game with us and the "Ashes". But we were up for this second local derby to date. The early goal from "Coops"set the ball rolling. They levelled at one stage, but we scored again soon after. Further goals sealed the result. Their second goal was from the spot. The game was a sporting event, and a mention for "Colin", and his crew at "Kimberley".The hospitality shown to us was no less than top class.

SALTASH AWAY

LUCKY ! BUT THEY ALL COUNT ?
"Paul" sent across a floating ball. It eluded all in the box, just grazed the far post and went in. This put us back in the lead. It also gave him club Man of the Match.

"GRIFF" FISHES OUT GOAL NO 3 "Danny Griffiths", who I believe fishes out of "Datmouth" in his job, laid his bait for our third goal. It registers his second for the club.

SALTASH AWAY

ON TARGET AGAIN !! Just before the break , with a low shot he gave us a healthy lead reading 4-1. It also keeps his tally for top scorer on record ?.

BACK FROM SUSPENSION "Warren Daw", now back from his red card at "Tavy", turned on a sixpence and hit goal no 5.

SALTASH AWAY

APOLOGY !!
Our last goal, and the best of the night was slotted away by "Jamie Bass". He fired from 30yds into the far post for a great strike. But! I cannot find his image in my "docs". (it will be done)

"BEN" IS BACK AT "BOLITHO PARK"

GOOD NEWS !! Do to a little club mis-understanding, we lost the services of "Ben" in our custodial position in the squad. However, I am glad to report he is back with us. I was sorry to see him leave us. On his return, at "Kimberley Stadium" in this local derby, it proved my point ?? Next game we take on the newcomers to the league "Liverton". That is on Tuesday 20th Nov at home. See you there !!

IVYBRIDGE AT HOME

TOO GOOD FOR THE "BRIDGERS" The outfit from "Ivybridge Town" found us in good form. We thought we would face ex-Parkway Mark Berry. Who has just left us for the "Bridgers" and to find greener pastures ?? (has someone just cut the grass ?) However, a small crowd for this local derby, saw us take the early lead. This single goal saw the break, but after we targetted again. We were far the better side . The third goal was the killer, and to end the day we scored again. This was a convincing win for the local derby !!.

IVYBRIDGE AT HOME

BACK FROM SUSPENSION We were more than pleased to see "Warren Daw" back in action. Seen here at a previous game at "Penzance". We were winning by the single goal. When he took the pressure off with a brilliant goal. A loose ball came his way and from 25 yds he lobbed his shot to find the net. His performance on the day rewarded him my club Man of the Match.

IVYBRIDGE AT HOME

TOP GOAL SCORER !! Seen here in action at "Launceston", our top man to date "Ryan Richards" slotted away our third goal. He ran on a loose ball from the halfway line. His low perfect shot beat the advancing keeper to score a great goal.

GOAL NO 4 !! Drafted in from the second team on more than one occasion , "Andy Harris", seen here in action at "Penzance", found the net for our fourth goal. But he fluffed his shot, and was more than surprised to see his effort just creep over the line ??. Next game now, another local derby against our friends across the "Tamar" no less than "Saltash" at Kimberly. That will be Friday 16th Nov. See you there ?

ST BLAZEY AWAY

WE BATTLE AT "BLAISE PARK"  !! It was a hard fought game we had to bare away from home. All thanks to the travelling few who made the trip to see the victory. We had a good start when "Coops" found the net with a simple header in 5mins. They levelled with a defensive error on our part. However, we went ahead again, this time "Ryan Richards", again with a header. From a corner they were level pegs again, so now the game was there to be won. I must say it could have gone any way. But luck was with us with 5 mins left to play. "Ryan Richards"raced away on a through ball. His low shot was perfect to beat the advancing keeper and face the onslaught glee of his team mates for the winner. It was sure a perfect moment for the powers to be in the dug-out ??

ST BLAZEY AWAY

"COOPS" Our front runner "Sam Cooper", gave us the lead after only 5mins play with a simple header from a great cross supplied by "Danny Griffiths". But he had to contend with the close marking coming from ex-Parkway player "Dann Evans". A player I would say is one of the best in our league. After his bad injury, it was a shame we did not get him back in our squad ?

ST BLAZEY AWAY

BRILLIANT SIGNING !! Since the arrival of "Danny Griffiths" to the squad, he has fitted in more than well. He played a major part in the result at "Blaise Park".

GOOD SAVE !! The home keeper forced to make a brave save at the feet of "Danny Griffiths"

TOP MAN !! "Ryan Richards" got us back in the lead, with the score at 2-1 They got back level pegs, but he struck again with 5 mins left for play to give us the winner and the final result. He was my club Man of the Match. Next game Tuesday 13th Nov at home to "Ivybridge Town"

PENZANCE AT HOME

WE DO THE "DOUBLE" OVER THE "MAGPIES" A poor crowd by standards saw us contend with the visitors from Cornwall "Penzance". The plucky oufit are still chasing their first win in the league. However, it was not to be on this day. They went 2 goals down within 11mins of play. After the break they came at us and got a goal back. But all credit to them they never gave up trying. Off the bench came newcomer "Jack Ball". He slid the ball in from a lovely cross by "Paul Heveran". The game was wrapped up when "Sam Cooper"found the target twice before the final whistle to register the score-sheet 5-1. My image shows "Danny Griffiths" who had a splendid game and gave us the first goal.

"RYAN RICHARDS" The club current top scorer, keeps his tally healthy when he notced the second goal. It was a great header from a pin-point cross from "Paul Heveran".

PENZANCE AT HOME

THIS IS A "MAGPIE SKUTTLER " ?? Our big "Sam Cooper" comes under some close marking. But he still managed to find the net twice for the score-sheet !.

PENZANCE AT HOME

MAN OF THE MATCH I just knew it would be not long for him to find the net. Young "Danny Griffiths" had a great game. He gave us the lead after only 4mins of play. He volleyed well away from the keeper, to give the "Magpies" a bad start. Next game now "St Blazey" away Sat 10th Nov. See you at "Blaize Park" ???
