BOXING DAY

CLUB PENNANT
The presentation as normal for the festive fixture as always against our local rivals "Elburton Villa". "Villa" not having the best of Seasons, were no match for us on the day. There was a welcome back to the squad after a persistent injury for "John Heveran". Also "Lance Bailey" was on the bench. So at last things are looking good. We coasted through the 90 minutes with ease. On target was new boy "Jordon Walton", Bassie hit 2, Rocky 2, and to make the grand tally of six "Trotty" found the net, with no reply from them. Not much in the way of images from the game. That was down to the fact that rain and cameras do not mix very well. The main problem is condensation !!
However, as you know it P****d down all game, so a big thank you to all our loyal supporters, who donned the umbrellas and braved the elements anyway. See you all in the New Year which will be Jan 3rd at home to "Newquay"

ST AUSTELL AWAY

WE DREW THE CROWD AT "POLTAIR PARK"
The "Lillywhites" took advantage of knowing full well we were a depleted side for the game. Plus the Red card which did not help !.But we would have done the same. No "Levi", Gavin Coulton with Flu, plus we had other key players sidelined, so the squad had to do their best. We took the lead from "Chrissie Wright". But soon after we lost "Paul Heveran" who was already subject to a yellow card. His tackle contained too much Xmas Spirit !!. The gap that "Paul" covered left us wide open at the back. They got level soon after the second half with a good strike. We did score again but ruled off-side. Then very late in the game the killer blow. The shot was saved by "Josh", but the 2nd ball ran kindly for them to finish from close in. So let us take it on the chin, and bounce back again on the Festive fixture on Boxing Day ??

ST AUSTELL AWAY

SOME EARLY PRESSURE FOR US

ST AUSTELL AWAY

MIKE LANDRICOMBE
Heads away again, and scored a great header in the second half to give us the lead. But a dubious ! decision it was ruled off-side.

ST AUSTELL AWAY

"ROCKY VERSUS THE KEEPER"

ST AUSTELL AWAY

RED CARD !!
This was the moment our game went somewhat downhill !!
Paul Heveran put too much Xmas spirit into the tackle. He tanked into the player on the halfway line by the touchline. The bloke ended up in the 3rd row of the stand. Was that a Xmas decoration I saw, no, it was the "Refs" red card ??. So now !Paul, all Xmas presents suspended, visit to "Santas Grotto" cancelled and Xmas dinner will now be "egg chips and peas" ??. Ha! Ha! Thats the rules ??

ST AUSTELL AWAY

TO ALL AT "PARKWAY F.C."
It just leaves me to say to everyone at the club, players and supporters. Have a great Xmas, and a Happy New Year.
(and dont we all need that ??)
Heh ! see you all  "BOXING DAY"

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

PARKWAY 7  HOLSWORTHY 1
Well! the result was pretty much as expected. To the crowd the difference in status of the leagues, was very apparent. However they saw 8 goals and some lovely sunshine. The score sheet to many for detail but read, Bassie, Mike Landricombe, Rocky 2, Kracci, Gavin Coulton and Chris Wright. Their odd reply was also scored by us ???. The game was open and no way were we at pressure. Our defence gave the "Magpies" little or none chance to change the style of play. So we advance to the next round. But the next game in the league we will have to be at our best ??????
See you at "Poltair Park" !!!!

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

OUR SECOND GOAL
As always the big guns come up for the corners. Here we see just one of them "Mike Landricombe", out jumping the "Magpies" defenders and heading home a great goal.

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

"CHRISSIE WRIGHT"
Hat-trick in the last game, and now again on target to really mark his return to the club.

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

2 MORE GOALS !!
Young "Andy Neale" (Rocky) keeps his scoring tally healthy with 2 strikes on target.

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

"BASSIE" SLIDES IN !!
"Jamie", just manages to get a foot on the ball in defence.

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

"Jamie Bass"
That broad smile says it all. He gave us the lead with a good header, and went on to have a great game. Voted for the club Man of the match award.

HOLSWORTHY AT HOME

TEST !!
This is a little clip I tried on movie. It shows what a rough game we are playing in ?. How "Josh" was never injured we will never know ??. Next game is Friday Dec 19th away to "St Austell". This will be an important result for both clubs ??
          Stay tuned    "lidds"

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

LOOKING GOOD !!
First we must pay our thanks to the hard work put in by our General Manager "Gez Baggott". His expert finishing touch to the update on the clubhouse is brilliant. The result against lowly "Bovey" went as we predicted. They were no match for us.But all credit to them they never gave up trying. Goals in the first half by "Kraccie, Wrighty 2, Levi, and Marcus Martin" hitting the best of the 5, when a free ball ran kindly for him from a free kick. Second half further goals followed from "Chris Wright" for his hat-trick, "Paul Heveran" straight from his corner, and "Kraccie" hit a beauty from 30yds to bring the game to a close. Just of late we have suffered players on the move ?. So all credit to the managerial side of the club,, to keep the team together , and register the last 2 results to our favour.

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

HANDBALL !!
"Trotty", although playing a defensive roll in the game. He likes to join in the attack, but on this occasion his shout fell on deaf ears ??

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

SHANE KRACC
Had as always an inspiring game for the result. He also slotted away one of the best goals of the 9 goals registered.

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

CHRISSIE WRIGHT
Just recently returned to us and the hallowed turf of "Bolitho Park", put his name on the game with a great hat-trick.

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

THE 7TH GOAL
Late in the game, "Paul Heveran", sent across a corner that was to be a disaster for the visitors. It eluded all the defenders and found the net.

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

NOT AGAIN ??
Not the smile of glee !! but before he jets off to the far and wide to "Australia" to visit family, "Levi" yet again put his name on the club Man of the Match. We wish them a safe trip.

BOVEY TRACY HOME

HEH! MAN OF THE MATCH ???
Just of late, we have had players coming and going. So it has left us with a minimum of playing squad. So after the last game, a passing comment was to the senior members of the club, Heh! you better bring your boots next week !!!  I wonder if the image will be a serious threat ! Ha ! Ha! Next game at home to "Holsworthy" in the cup Sat Dec 13th. See you there !
