BODMIN AWAY

WE DIP AT "PRIORY PARK"
Well ! Well! I wont dwell on this one too much. But not holding any bad eggs ! no way were they worthy winners. I would say with many other reports ! the best team lost. But to win games you have to score. That little bit of luck eluded us on the day. Without question we had 75% of the play. Then just on 40 mins, a free kick for them some 40yds out. For me, plenty of time for the keeper to position himself, and to judge the flight of the ball. It was not going to be ? I will say no more ??. Second half we pounded them , forcing the home side to kick anywhere to keep us at bay. Yet again they get the better of us by the skin of their teeth !!!!. But its not completley curtains for us, just a little bit more pressure for the coming games left ??

CAMELFORD AT HOME

3 MORE POINTS !!
On the day a disappointing crowd, but to be fair the football was not at its best. However, we still overcame our poor display and won. "Adam Carter" from close in after 18mins. Then the second goal when "Paul Heveran", ventured up the right flank. His strong low shot with a slight deflection found the net. This 2-0 lead saw the half-time whistle. But the game should have been well and truly sorted before this time. After the break we soaked up some early pressure, but then the third goal came. "Levi" picked up a through ball. He jostled the ball a couple of times, but then the left foot volley crashed the net. Game over for them. The general patter in the club after was not to give us top marks ? But to play poor, but still win ?  who knows ??.

IVYBRIDGE AWAY

BRILLIANT AT "ERME VALLEY"
We certainly avenged the early defeat at home with the 4 clear goals. A good crowd saw the "Bridgers" well and truly beaten on the day. Club top scorer "Levi Landricombe" made his mark twice inside 18 mins. Before the break "Gavin Coulton" joined the front runners and headed home from a free kick. Second half the game was in our hands. A long clearance from "Dann Law" in the "Parkway" goal, found "Adam Carter". He rounded his defender and registered the fourth goal and seal the result. Late in the game a consolation penalty  shout for them. But the icing on the cake for us when "Dann" in the custodial position, brought off a great save , to keep their score-line negative !! It was a good away victory ??

EASTER MONDAY WITHERIDGE AWAY

EASTER MONDAY BONUS !!
Well! Well! In this crucial stage of the season, who would think we would put  away 7 goals at "Edge Down Park". Not me !. But that's what we did. They did reply twice, taking the lead, and then a free kick from 25yds. Our 7 of the best, too many to report in detail, but on the sheet was "Luke Rundle", a hat-trick for "Levi", "Adam Carter" chested one in !, and to make the tally of seven, "Willy" calmly slotted away the two penalties awarded in the game. The powers to be "Wayne and Lee", must have injected in the squad
what a important win for us at this stage. They never let us down !!.  Well done to the squad.
                     "lidds"

EASTER MONDAY

GOOD FRIDAY

A PERFECT DAY !!
It was "Sunshine, a good crowd. 3 goals on display, a missed penalty and 3 points for us. But we had an early shock going down in the first minute. We now had to show character and get back in the game. We levelled with a goal well put together with a great move. "Adam Carter", was on hand to force the own goal. "Levi Landricombe" was causing problems with his quick pace and eagerness for the ball. It paid off with dividends. He spotted a back pass to the keeper. He blocked the keepers clearance, and just had to guide the ball over the line, to give us the 2-1 lead. This was to be the final "Good Friday" result for us on the 90 min whistle.

CULLOMPTON AWAY

      3 POINTS AT "SPEEDS MEADOW"
Considering the current positions of the teams on display in the league ! the game went pretty much as predicted. Taking the lead late in the Ist half by "Levi Landricombe". He was on target again early in the second period. Then "Danny Gaze" sent over a cross, only to see it elude the keeper and enter the net. Adding to their misery two more than easy chances fell for "Adam Carter" to put his name on the score-sheet. The game was played in a sporting fashion, and a quick word on the hospitality shown to the Parkway committee at the tea break ! It was more of a banquet ? The selection of food was brilliant. Thankyou ! Our "Charlie" thought he was at a Wedding ??. All the best for the rest of the season.

LAUNCESTON AWAY

2 GOALS AND 2 REDS AT "PENNYGILLAM"
I'm glad to say the goals were for us !. The game was difficult to say the least. First half we found the net twice , only to be ruled offside. However, we took the lead after 15mins. This held until the break. Then with the "Pennygillam" slope to our favour, we pressed to go further ahead. But they gave us some anxious moments on breakaways. But we had "Mike Landricombe and Gavin Coulton" for them to overcome.? The chance we looked for came on the 30min marker. "Luke Rundle" was on track to score well inside the box. The home keeper done the obvious and paid the price for a penalty. Also, against the blue sky the red card was clearly seen."Levi" stepped up and found the net. Then soon after to add to their misery, "Levi" himself was fouled. Having being the last defender, the red card made a second appearance !! This now was the result secured. We thank all the travelling supporters, and a safe trip home.
