FALMOUTH TOWN HOME

HOME WIN FOR 3 POINTS !!
We return to league duties in notching the home and away victories over the visitors from the depths of "Cornwall". But yet again we had to get back level from their early goal. "Paul Heveran" with a great low shot. "Gavin Coulton" then gave us the lead before the break. After two quick strikes from "Ryan and Danny Lewis"the game was beginning to unfold for the result. They did score again from a corner with a good header. But then, an option from the bench saw "Levi Landricombe"emerge ! he for me completly transformed the fire power for us up front. His first time shot from a cross by "Paul Heveran", and then a solo run saw him round the keeper for his second goal. The powers to be at the club, "Lee and Wayner", will now have their thoughts on the games in hand ??.

"Gavin Coulton" ventured up for the corner and from close in headed us back into the lead. Sorry about the quality of the image but it was "raining" ! (not good)

ST LUKES BOWL

WE CRUSH "CULLUMPTON" !!
Well ! where shall I begin ?. I thought "Ben" in goal played well.He read the paper and smoked two fags ?.It was common knowledge that on paper we were the favourites to win the tie. But not to the tune of eleven goals. But can you believe, that we were a goal down at the start. However after the first goal went in, the onslaught started. A small crowd by standards had their moneys worth by far. But the visitors from up the motorway, kept fighting till the last whistle. They were dealt a blow from the start when their keeper failed to show up. The Manager had to don the keepers jersey !. He played his best, but after picking the ball out of the net a mere eleven times. He went home with a bad back !!! Scroll down for the score-sheet.

ST LUKES BOWL

2 FOR "RYAN"
He is never far away when there is a chance to score. His first a good strike from a ball put through by "Gavin Colton". The second when "Adam Carter" stabbed the ball dead, for "Ryan" to finish.

ST LUKES BOWL

ANOTHER GOOD ONE ?
Although playing deep in defence, when "Paul Heveran" find the net , they are top goals. This was the case when he met a cross from "Luke Rundle". His low shot crashed the back of the net.

ST LUKES BOWL

2 MORE FOR "LEVI"
To keep his healthy goal tally alive, he found the net with a fierce shot in the top corner of the net. For his second, he shot a free kick through a mellee of defenders.

ST LUKES BOWL

"GAVIN" ON THE SCORE-SHEET
For any defence if "Gavin Colton" ventures up into the area, you are in trouble. This was just the case when he brilliantly headed home from a corner.

ST LUKES BOWL

"SAM" OFF THE BENCH !
It was not long before young "Hillson" made himself known. He rattled home a first time shot from a cross supplied by "Ryan Richards".

ST LUKES BOWL

A DAY TO REMEMBER !!
Big "Adam Carter" certainly made himself known to the visitors in this quarter final of the "St Lukes Bowl". On target no less than 4 times. All be it one was from the spot when he himself was brought down. He was the Managers choice for the Man of the Match award. We now face at home to "Exeter City". Heh !! mark that down in your new "Calender" for January !!.

F.A VASE

OOP'S  SORRY !
In the F.A.VASE webb to follow, I forgot the to insert the presentation as we always do at the cup games. "Willy" gets a bit "narky" if he's not in ??

F.A.VASE

WE COME SECOND !!
Here we see us leading out to do battle against the unknown quality of "Hallen F.C.". The first half saw both sides evenly matched. But a defensive slip at the back, saw them take the lead. After the break we got back on level pegs. It was untidy but "Steve Colwell" managed to lobb the ball over the keeper from close in. However they went back ahead again soon after with it must be said a great goal. The player skinned big "Mike Landricombe", and shot low in the corner. We then had them on the back foot, but lacked that little bit of luck that you must have. "Willy, Luke, and both the Landricombe brothers" all going close to finding the net. They had to defend for their life to keep is out. But then we were exposed at the back !!. A breakaway saw them net again to claim the result late in the game. But the powers at the club "Wayne and Lee", must have been well pleased with the way we battled to the end.

F.A.VASE

MARK OF RESPECT
Before the game both sides paid their respect, with a clap of praise in memory of "Nelson Mandela"

F.A.VASE

BATTLED IN VAIN !!
During the game "Levi Landricombe" fought hard to keep his rank as club top scorer to date. But that little bit of luck on the day was not to be ?

STEVIE COLWELL
Saw a lot of the ball in this Cup venture against the unknown quality from the Bristol area. He put his name on the single goal we scored on the day.

CLOSE MARKING !

CLUB AWARD
It was a hard decision at the end of the 90 mins of play. But the powers to be at the club cast the final vote. For the single goal we registered and his commitment in the game "Stevie Colwell" was named "Man of the Match". Next game is at home to "Cullumpton" on Wed Dec 11th with a 7-30PM K.O.   stay tuned  "lidds"

St Austell Away

MAXIMUM POINTS AT "POLTAIR PARK"
We all knew this was going to be a difficult fixture having a memory of the results of last Season home and away. The play from both sides was not at it's best. In the old days you could say, win the toss and kick up-hill first ! To a certain degree you can do that at "Poltair Park". However, late in the first half we went ahead. We saw "Levi Landricombe" race away and lobb the keeper to score. Soon after the break they got level pegs with a first touch from a throw in. Then "Levi" and big "Adam Carter" combined well together. The cross from "Levi" saw "Adam" force the ball over the line. Then minutes later it was "Carters" turn to be the provider. His cross saw "Levi" nip in and head neatly past the keeper. They then came at us and scored again. The score-line now at 3-2 the home side pushed forward looking for level pegs !, But then they were exposed at the back ?. "Levi" took off, and when he does he will take some catching ?. With only the keeper to beat, he netted his hat-trick and put he result beyond any comeback for them. The Guinness tasted better after, and I trust we all journeyed home safely. I myself was in a good mood so to speak, and ready to sit and watch with her indoors, "Strictly come Dancing" must I, (Oh Sh-t !!)

HOW MANY PLAYERS IN THE BOX ??
Early in the game we inflicted some pressure on the "Lillywhites " defence, looking for the break !!.

CONSTANT THREAT ??
The home defence found the pace of "Levi Landricombe" difficult to handle during the 90 mins of play.

WE GO FLAGSHIP AGAIN !!
They got back level, but then "Levi Landricombe" found big "Adam Carter" with his cross. It was untidy but he got enough contact to bundle the ball over the line to put us back in the lead.

MAN OF THE MATCH
The "Lillywhites" had no answer for the pace of "Levi Landricombe". It was on the cards that he would find the target. He did that at "Poltair Park" with a well taken hat-trick. It was an easy vote for the club award. Next game Sat Dec 7th in the F.A.Vase. At home to "Hallen Town". Make sure your there !!
