SUCCESSFUL NIGHT !!

Our annual Presentation night held at the "Parkway Club" at Ernesettle was a good night. Master of the ceremonies was joint between club team manager "Wayne Hillson" and general manager "Gez Baggott". It was well attended by both teams. We thank all who came along for their support. It is a well known fact now that we are to lose "John Heveran" in the new season to the greener pastures of "Tiverton Town". As I have said before we wish him well for his new venture. However, he leaves on a high note being voted the Supporters player for the season. Once again "Jim and Gez" doing the honours.

It was well worth getting out of bed for young "Ryan Richards". He had a more than successful season since moving to us from "Dobwalls". He won my "liddsonline" award for most Man of the Match. He was the club top scorer, and also voted "Players Player" for the season. I hope he has a large "sideboard" ?? for all the trophies !!.   Ryan,  well done mate !

PARKWAY UPDATE

THE WARRIOR RETURNS !!
News just broken that "Glynn Hobbs" is to return to the playing fields of football. I for one are glad, and would love to see him back  donning the "Parkway" shirt once again. I would just like to say "Hobbo", time to knuckle down mate. Get yourself down to "Bolitho Park", and carry on doing what your good at "Glynn" scoring goals!!.We promise to have you home in bed by 8pm !!

THE NEWS SO FAR ??
We hear now that our current team Manager "Wayne Hillson" is to be assisted in the coming season by "Lee Hobbs". I myself think this will be an added asset to the club. So it just leaves me to remind  you of the interesting season that lays ahead. Also the club date for the presentation night is June 15th at the "Parkway Club" at Ernesettle Lane. 7.30pm start. A night to celebrate with the the Ist team getting runners up, and the seconds winning the league ??.

NEWS FROM "BOLITHO PARK"

  The latest news from the grapevine, is good and bad. Firstly the brothers "John and Paul" are off to "TivertonTown". Along with "Kracci" from Bodmin and "Chris Wright" from Buckland. All players I hoped to have seen wearing the Parkway shirt for the new season. All in this World is not given ?. However on a lighter note, we have players coming to us that carry a degree of pedigree. I hear that "Colewell, Rundle, and Adam Carter", all leaving "Priory Park" for the hallowed turf of "Bolitho Park". Also I hear that a player I have valued for many a season from "Kimberly Stadium", no less than "Gavin Coulton". A player that will fill many gaps in our build for the new season. Any more news I will keep you informed, with the friendlies coming our way.

BAD NEWS !!

It is now a well known fact that we are to loose one of our best players by the way of "John Heveran". He is to try his luck in a higher grade of the game at "TivertonTown". Along with his brother  "Paul". I thought with the wonderful situation they had with Mum "Jacky" and dad "Mark"on the line, watching, and brother "Paul" in the squad. what more could you ask for ? However, the higher grade of the game has to be taken. As always at "Parkway" we wish them all the best in their new venture, good or bad ??. But we will keep a locker space vacant just in case ??

This is the second blow to us with brother "Paul" to follow his brother in the new challenge for the higher grade of football. He will be missed for his football and his cheeky way towards life !!

MANAGERIAL CHANGE ??
  Firstly a big thanks to "Wayner" in guiding us through the season to gain the runners up spot within the league. So now with the help in the new season by "Lee Hobbs". This I think this will be an added asset to the club. With the movement of players between clubs, it is going to be a interesting season ahead. We must take on the good news along with the bad, and press on as a club. Just to sum up, do not  forget the Presentation night on the  15th June at the "Parkway Club" at Ernesettle Lane 7.30pm start. Something to celebrate with the Ist team getting runners up ! and the seconds winning the league !  Come on, lets get it on ??
