NEWQUAY AT HOME

"CUP WINNERS"
At last we secure the final result to give us the runners up spot in the league. Here we see "Will Stringer" receiving the cup from the League Chairman "Mark Hayman". But it was a hard fought battle. The visitors from "Cornwall" battled to the last kick of the game. A good crowd saw the outcome to be decided by a hotly disputed penalty. Club skipper "Will Stringer" stepped up and made no mistake. But we had glaring chances in the second period to put the game beyond any doubt. But them chances were squandered ??. But the single goal registered was all that was needed. So now it might be the "Western League" ??. I can just see me saying to her indoors, Heh love! were playing away Saturday, I will be home about "midnight" !!!!!  (christ)

AT LAST  RUNNERS UP SECURED !!
After a bite your nails end to the season, we see lifting the cup, club chairman "Jim Parsons" and club joint Manager "Wayne Hillson". Who has done fantastic job guiding the squad throughout the season. Having to remember halfway through, we lost some key players.

BODMIN AWAY

BRILLIANT AT "PRIORY PARK"
Before the game we line up to congratulate the winners for the season. But we go and stamp only their second defeat for the season. On the day we would have beat anyone. Who better than the league winners. A hat-trick from "Ryan Richards" and a single strike from "Jamie Bass"done the damage. But they had no answer to the way we battled for the ball. Our "Will Stringer and John Heveran" soaked up all the threat from their main front man ??. It is all down to one more game to seal our fate for the season !! I wonder if we dare take the challenge ??

AN OLD ENEMY ??
We had to meet up with a more than popular ex-player at "Parkway" by the way of "Lee Doel". Here we see him being shadowed closely by central defender "John Heveran".

FREE KICK FINDS THE NET !
Just before the break they got back in the game from a free kick. It took a cruel deflection away from the keeper to save.

KEPT US IN THE GAME !!
It must be said that "Parkway's" keeper "Ben Elphick" made some brilliant saves to keep us in contention for the result. He was one name in the frame for the Man of the match ??

HAT TRICK FOR "RYAN"
They had no answer for top club scorer "Ryan Richards" on the day. He was without doubt on fire. For his second goal he beat the home keeper "Kev Miller" with a first time volley. So for his hat-trick, he calmly walked around "Miller" on a one on one, and selected the empty net.  Without doubt he put his name on the club Man of the Match.

THE BIG 21 ??
At the end of this brilliant result for us, we pay our congratulations to "Paul Heveran" who has reached the grand old age of 21. Next game now is on Tuesday May 7th against Newquay Town. This will be the decider for the runners up spot in the league. Don't miss it ?
