BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

POINT DROPPED AT HOME !!
This was a game we thought was to be in our control. However, the heavy conditions sometimes put the game on chances for both sides. This was the case when they took the lead from the spot in the first 5 mins when "Ben" tripped in the box. We got level when of all people full back "Paul Heveran" ventured up and headed home a beauty from a "Danny Gaze" perfect cross. After the break we were flagship with a great goal from "Levi Landricombe". Just when we went for the third goal to seal the result , they broke away and equalized, with it must be said a good goal. So we had to face the fact a point dropped at home. But as the power to be at the club  remarked !! we never lost ??

BOVEY TRACY AT HOME

"LEVI LANDRICOMBE"
Within the 90mins of play, anyone for us expected to find the target was to be "Levi". He did just that in the second half.

WE TAKE THE LEAD !
Soon after the restart we took the lead when "Levi Landricombe" connected first time from a high ball sent into the box. His fierce low shot found the back of the net. It was well applauded by all his team mates and the crowd.

NEW BLOOD AT "BOLITHO PARK"
Having lost to date, a couple of players who are seeking greener pastures, we have on loan from "Tiverton Town" young "Nicky Rudge". I'm sure we all welcome him to the club.

10 MEN !!
It was just my luck that I had, well in the frame for the club award Man of the Match . That, after a more than spirited game , our "Danny Lewis" got the second yellow card. It summed up the game and the result !!. Next game away to "Ivybridge Town" Fri Feb 28th. Elements permitting ??

TORPOINT AWAY

3 POINTS AT THE "MILL"
It was not a classic. Untidy, and at times it was "stroppy". Countless yellow cards and one red for them. The football was poor from both sides. However we took the lead when "Adam Carter" saw his snap shot find the net. They got level before the break all be it from the spot. But it was "Levi Landricombe" to come to the rescue. He found the net to edge us in front before the break. Second half we were slightly the better side. But we had to battle to hang on the the slender win . But we did just that !!

TORPOINT AWAY

EX-PARKWAY !!
The "Torpoint" side was riddled with ex-Parkway players. Big "Sam Cooper" was one such player that graced the "Bolitho Park".

TORPOINT AWAY

THEY GET LEVEL !
After some shirt pulling by "Willy", the spot kick was to see them equalize. The sweet left foot of ex-Parkway defender "Lee Bevan" beat "Ben" hitting the roof of the net.

TAVY AT HOME

ONCE AGAIN WE SLAUGHTER THE "LAMBS" ??
We had to take on a larger than life character within our league by the way of "Andy Bowker" as the "Tavy" manager. But not to rest on sentiments, we took the early lead. "Mike Landricombe" tried his luck , and the second ball ran nicely for "Sam Hillson" to finish. From a corner brother "Levi Landricombe" made it 2 nil. But before the 45 min whistle they got one back. Soon after the start they got level when ex-Parkway "Neil Kinsman"struck first time to make it game on. However we edged ahead again after "Adam Carter" slipped the ball for "Levi" to register his second goal. Late in the game their fate was sealed when a goalmouth scramble saw the ball enter the net. The last touch was credited to "Danny Gaze" for his first goal for the club.It was untidy ! but I bet it wont be his last time on the score-sheet. Good win for this local derby ?

To give us the 2 nil lead , "Levi Landricombe" was on the far post to tap the ball home. The goal was well applauded by his team-mates.

ST LUKES BOWL

WHAT A NIGHT ??
For those loyal fans who turned out against the elements, they were rewarded in full ?. They saw some good football, 6 goals, 3 red cards, one flare ? a shower of rain and a penalty shootout. I would say that's value for money. We took the lead after 6mins from "Levi Landricombe". Shortly after from the spot "Will Stringer" made it 2 nil and a red card for them. After the break they came at us as expected. They got level with 2 silly goals, however from the bench "Ryan Richards" put us flagship again. They levelled once more this time it was well taken. We suffered the blow now with "Gavin Coulton" red carded. But soon the ref blew for 90 mins and pointed to the spot for the dreaded penalty shoot out. "Levi" stepped up first to show how its done. "Paul Heveran, Willy, Ryan, and Lance Bailey" completed the issue. The failed the mark when "Ben" saved their fourth spot kick with a good save. It sure was a night to remember. Because it must have been said, that we trotted out before the start as the "underdogs" ??
Were in the FINAL !!           "lidds"

ST LUKES BOWL

ON FIRE !!
No way could they match the quick movement coming from our "Levi Landricombe", during the game. He was a constant threat to the visiting defenders.

ST LUKES BOWL

CLEVER ON THE BALL !
In our mid-field we had the clever moves on the ball coming from "Dann Hart".

ST LUKES BOWL

RED CARD !
Late in the game a bad moment for us when "Gavin  Coulton" got involved in a skuffle. Both players were subject to the red card. It was a pity for "Gavs", as he was outstanding in our defence.

ST LUKES BOWL

MAN OF THE MATCH
The quick pace of our "Levi Landricombe" was to be a problem for them. He gave us the lead after only 6 mins of play with that sweet left foot of his, finding the top corner of the net. Minutes later he was brought down in the box, the penalty was duly put away by "Will Stringer" for the 2 goal lead. He claimed the club award being presented here by larger than life "Parkway" supporter "Lee Russell".    "lidds"

THE FINAL NAIL !!
This was the moment when "Lance Bailey" spot kick ,crashed the back of the net to put us in the final. It was to be, that we go through on penalties winning 5-4. Next game now is Saturday at home to Witheridge. Obviously that will be weather permitting ???
