THE JOURNEY HOME !!
After the win at "Penlee Park" we celebrate on the train knowing we have secured 3rd place in the league. Never an easy fixture for us against the "Magpies", but we took the lead after 15mins. A loose ball in the box ran for Chris Wright to tap home. On the 3omin mark they got level. A slight "boob" between "Ben and Lance Bailey" the ball was returned via a slight deflection into the net for their equalizer. Just before the break, "Hobbo" who was not having the best of games, came up with a little bit of magic. He worked the ball down the bye-line slipping the ball neatly for "Shane Kracc" to finish from close in. A poor crowd by our standards saw the second half with no further goals. Late in the game saw the home side down to 10 men. Their best player "Quinn" had words with the "Ref", for which the red card saw daylight.
All thanks to the loyal fans who made the trip down to support, on the last league game for the season.

LAST GAME !!
So that's it for another season. But a good one for us. Having finished 3rd in the league and also cup winners, in my book that's good. The problem now for the managers is how to retain the brilliant squad we have together for next season. Not forgetting the brilliant family support that we have at the club. Who knows ??. If all goes well as planned, we will be running out of our new dressing rooms for the new season ??

CUP FINAL
Club captain as always presents our club logo. It turned out to be a hard fought battle. Ten goals at any cup final is a supporters dream. Just a quick note how the game unfolded. St Blazey scored first but we were back level by Danny Brook. Lee Doel then gave us the lead. A further goal by "Brooksie" again , we thought the game was in our grasp. How wrong we were. They got back level pegs, and then took the lead again. Glynn Hobbs then saved the day to get us into extra time. In the added time a goal by Chris Wright gave us the determination to win. To seal the result, Andy Sargent stepped up to register goal number six before the final whistle. All thanks to the squad showing the will to win after being behind twice. A quick word on the hospitality at the venue being Newquay. It was top class. The "chile" was good as well ??

BUCKLAND HOME
As always the line of respect is taken before the game. We also pay respect to the visitors having being crowned League winners for the season. However, we by their admission gave them one of the hardest fixtures in the league, home and away. A good crowd saw an entertaining game with some good football played. We took the lead by Andy Sargent, but short lived with their equalizer. Second half we were a goal down. But minutes later Shane Kracc with a good strike , popped in the equalizer for us. This was the score-line to stay. But not before they had to defend at their best to keep us out. "Hobbo" was their main threat , going close with many chances. We played well, and the bonus for us with the big day looming , NO INJURIES !!

BUCKLAND HOME
With the cup final upon us we welcome back "Ben" who has been side-lined with injury. He bounced back with a vengeance bringing off some brilliant saves to keep us in retention for this high profile fixture. Without doubt my choice for club Man of the Match. Will I be selecting the said award after the final on Monday ???
