SECOND WIN FOR THE NEW YEAR
We recorded our second victory at "Bickland Park" against "Falmouth" who are currently based in the lower region of the League. I cannot relay any detail because I had to miss this one , owing to her indoors not being too well. However, I hear on heavy conditions we came to be the better side. A healthy lead at the break of 4-1, all was going well. My spy on the line tells me the squad battled hard to secure the away win. One bad moment for us when we lost "Trotty" on a red card. I hope that will not effect us for next week in the cup-tie against "Callington Town". "Jordon" for me is a key player in our defence. Sorry for the webb being a little topsy turvy!! I had a few problems with it ? Putting it all together is not easy.  (I am getting old ??)  Heh ! see you Sat.

The game previous he was man of the match !!this week at "Bickland Park", he was first in the showers ??   Thats our football !!

LEVI LANDRICOMBE
Was on target for the single strike to keep his goal tally healthy.

CULLUMPTON AT HOME

STANDIN KEEPER "TOM McHALE"
With our resident keeper on holiday we had the services of "Tom" who is on loan from "Truro City" for the game. A fine afternoon to see us back playing again from a long lay off due to the adverse weather. A small crowd by standards saw us bounce back with a vengeance. The visitors were no match for us. 8 mins we took the lead by a rare header to score by "Levi". Soon after "Marcus Martin", who put in a brilliant performance, selected his spot for goal no 2. Before the break with the game well in our control, "Rocky" found the net. The game was played in a sporting manner with only 2 yellow cards to see the light of day. Seeond half we sealed the result by "Jordon Trot"from the spot and "Rocky" popped up again for his second strike on target. The result will do us proud, not forgetting we have just lost recently, 2 key members of the squad by the way of "Will Stringer", and would you believe it "Shane Kracc" has left us again still looking for greener pastures ??. I am forced to say we wish him well !!
                    Stay tuned  "lidds"

CULLUMPTON AT HOME

WE TAKE THE LEAD !
After 8 mins of play "Trotty" supplied a cross to see "Levi" to get down low and head home.

CULLUMPTON AT HOME

THE THIRD GOAL
Young "Andy Neal" finds the net to give us the 3 goal lead.

CULLUMPTON AT HOME

"ROCKY"
Front man "Andy Neal" came into some rough tackles during the 90 mins of play. But he still found the net twice.
4 Nil FROM THE SPOT
After a foul in the box, it was "Jordon Trot"(no 3) to step up and send the keeper the wrong way to give us the cushion of 4 clear goals.

"JAMIE BASS"
As always a 100% effort in the game coming from "Bassie"

WHAT ME ??
It was a surprise to him when I called him over after the game. But in my book he had a faultless game. He created the chance for the first gaol, and second half stepped up to notch the fourth goal from the spot. "Trotty"  Man of the match. Next game is away to "Falmouth Town" Sat 21st Feb.                                         "lidds"

UPDATE

GET WELL SOON !!
We have just recently heard that a great supporter of our local football "Mr Throgmorton", has not been well. Being admitted to Hospital, he is now on the road to recovery. I'm sure all of us at "Parkway F.C.", from the powers to be, the players and all connected with the club, wish him a quick return to good health once again. Here we see him presenting the cup to us of last season, to "Will Stringer". As we all know by now that "Willy" has since left us to return to the lesser green pastures of "Langsford Park". Having a long period with "Tavy"in the past, he feels to end his playing days with them. In my book he was a great skipper at "Parkway", and a great clubman as well. All at "Bolithio Park" wish him all the best.
